MENTORSHIP PROGRAM FOR COUNSELING STUDENTS FROM BOITEKANELO COLLEGE YEAR 2
15/11/25 was a wrap up presentation by Counseling Students year 2 of Boitekanelo College at Botswana. I am thrilled to announce that, the students were on Attachment at my organization; SHOW A WOMAN ORGANIZATION for Community Outreach Program.
We facilitated and mentored them throughout the project. We gave them an assignment to reach out to Gamodubu Child Care Trust at Botswana. Where they executed their practicals which they completed on the 15th November 2025.
The students did such a remarkable job, throughout their attachment they visited the center to assist with all the needs at hand like cleaning and washing clothes / uniforms for the children. Which mostly are still very young, in pre-school and primary level , only a few are teenagers at junior and senior school.
On their wrapping up project, they bought various stuff to donate to the center. Snack, Cleaning detagents, sweeping materials just to mention a few. As a mentor, this left me in awe, so proud of these children.
They say, "LEGACY IS NOT WHAT YOU LEAVE BUT WHO YOU LEAVE." That's how to measure your impact.
