Every day, women and girls around the world suffer from gender-based violence (GBV)from physical and emotional abuse to online harassment and cultural practices that undermine their dignity and freedom. As someone who has been personally affected (I will share with you my personal story one day) by the realities of this pervasive violence, I know firsthand how devastating it can be. But I also know the power of resilience, collective action, and the transformation that happens when survivors share their stories, receive support and take a stand.
As the Liluye Ambassador, the founder of MamynySoa Association, and an advocate through Voices for Democracy and Justice, I dedicate my life to fighting injustice. In addition, I'm a writer at Global Voices and contributor to Wikipedia to amplify voices and report on issues of injustice.

My Participation in the Fight Against GBV
To further amplify my commitment, I leverage my roles as a writer and advocate.
On Voices for Democracy and Justice, I have written an article titled "Global Solidarity for Change: Ending Gender-Based Violence in the 16 Days of Activism" which allows me to stand alongside global activists, survivors, and communities in amplifying the demand for justice and equality. Through this platform, I also aim to raise awareness and highlight the urgency of ending gender-based violence.
As Liluye Ambassador, I am honored to represent a global community committed to empowering female survivors of human trafficking. Using my social media platforms, I amplify the impactful work of Liluye, sharing their initiatives and the powerful stories of women and girls affected by violence. These survivors' voices must be heard, and I am dedicated to ensuring their stories reach a wider audience, fostering solidarity and action across the world.
Additionally, as a member of Africa Wiki Women, I contribute to the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence by sharing post on my Instagram account. On Day 9, I joined this global movement, using my platform to further raise awareness, engage my community, and amplify the call for justice, empowerment, and healing for all women and girls.
As a contributor at Wikipedia, I also write a new artilce in my native language titled in english "Violence against women" and I also contribute by editing relevant article in french about GBV, helping to ensure these critical issues are addressed in multiple languages.
And, of course, I am more than happy to share this story with my favorite community, World Pulse. This platform has been an invaluable space for connecting with other passionate advocates, and I'm honored to write about the fight against GBV and amplify the voices of those dedicated to change.
MamynySoa: Empowering Women and Girls on the Ground
Also at my association MamynySoa, our mission is simple but profound: to empower women and girls by equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to break free from violence. But this work is not just about providing resources it’s about transforming mindsets and challenging the societal and institutional structures that perpetuate violence.
Growing up in a world where violence against women and girls is often normalized, I became acutely aware of the power dynamics that keep women silenced. It became clear to me that addressing gender-based violence requires more than just sympathy it requires action. Through MamynySoa, I decided to take that action by focusing on grassroots initiatives that directly engage with the communities most affected by violence.
One of my next plan is to distribute handbooks that educate women and girls on how to recognize, prevent, and report GBV. In many marginalized communities, access to information about their rights and available support services is severely limited. By providing these tools, we empower women to make informed decisions about their safety and well-being. Alongside this, we organize workshops, educational campaigns, and safe spaces where women and girls can share their experiences, learn about their legal rights, and be supported in their journey toward healing.

Voices for Democracy and Justice: Amplifying Stories
In addition to my work with MamynySoa, I'm a co-founder of Voices for democracy and Justice to dedicate myself to share stories of those who have experienced gender-based violence that are often overlooked or silenced in mainstream conversations. Survivors are not just victims; they are agents of change. Their stories are critical because they push us to rethink how we view GBV and the systems that sustain it.
Through written reports, testimonies, and multimedia projects, Voices for Democracy and Justice highlights the resilience, strength, and courage of survivors. We work tirelessly to demand justice, accountability, and systemic reform. The goal is to shift societal attitudes toward GBV, dismantle harmful stereotypes, and create a world where survivors are not blamed or ignored, but rather empowered and supported in their healing.
Our movement is about more than awareness; it’s about mobilizing action and making tangible changes in laws, communities, and institutions.
Join the Fight: Empowering Communities, Raising Awareness, and Rewriting Justice
The fight to end gender-based violence is a global movement that requires all of us to take action. Whether you’re a survivor, an advocate, or an ally, your voice matters. At MamynySoa, we are committed to empowering women and girls on the ground, and at Voices for Democracy and Justice, we are ensuring that survivor voices lead the way in calling for justice and systemic change.
By sharing your story, reporting incidents of violence, and mobilizing others, you can help create a world where violence against women and girls is no longer accepted, and where survivors are supported and given the resources they need to heal.

Let’s stand together, support one another, and ensure that justice and safety are accessible to all women and girls everywhere. The time for change is now. Let's join the movement to rewrite the future, one where gender-based violence is a thing of the past.
