A Nepali Woman Trying to Fit in this World

Hi, I’m Samira, I am a woman from Nepal, a small and humble country with big mountains and even bigger dreams. Coming from a modest background, I carry strength shaped by struggle and hope shaped by faith. I am exploring the world with curiosity and courage, hoping to connect with women across borders — to share stories, support each other, and grow together. My journey may begin in Nepal, but my heart reaches far beyond it.

Nepal is the land of Mt. Everest, ancient temples, diverse ethnic communities, and warm-hearted people. But beyond its natural beauty, it is also a country where many women still face challenges shaped by poverty, limited opportunities, and traditional expectations.

In many parts of our society, women are expected to stay silent, sacrifice their dreams, and prioritize others before themselves. Access to education, financial independence, and leadership roles is still unequal for many girls and women. Yet despite these challenges, Nepali women are strong, resilient, and full of quiet courage. We carry families, communities, and hopes on our shoulders.
