Dear Norah,
There are moments when the world goes quiet, and all you can hear is your own heart aching. Moments when the pain feels so deep that even breathing feels like hard work. You sit there, pretending to be okay, while inside you are crumbling, wondering how long you can keep being “strong” for everyone when no one is strong for you.
You remember the times you prayed with tears in your eyes, whispering to God not for riches, not for miracles, but just for peace. You remember the days you smiled for others even when your soul felt empty, when you carried your sadness like a secret too heavy to share. You kept saying, I’m fine, when all you wanted was for someone to look at you and say, I see your pain. I understand.
Norah, you have been brave in the most painful way — by surviving silently. By waking up even when you did not want to. By choosing life when your heart felt like giving up. By loving people who left you behind. By forgiving when you were the one bleeding. That kind of strength is not loud, but it is sacred.
There were days you felt invisible. Days you questioned your worth. Days you felt like the dreamer child you once were had disappeared. But listen to this with your whole heart: that girl is still inside you. She is wounded, yes, but she is not dead. She is waiting for you to believe in her again.
Every tear that fell on your pillow was a silent prayer. Every broken night was shaping a stronger morning. You are not weak for feeling deeply — you are human. And even in your brokenness, you are still beautiful.
One day, Norah, your heart will rest. One day, the pain will soften. One day, the same voice that cries in the dark will laugh freely in the light. And when that day comes, you will understand that God was holding you even when you felt alone.
Until then, keep holding on. Keep breathing. Keep believing. Even if all you can do today is survive that is courage. That is hope. And that is enough.
You are not forgotten. You are not alone. And you are still worth fighting for.
