How to say no without feeling guilty:
1. Do You Know: Do you know that the more you say yes to what drains you, the more you tell people to treat you like trash.
So whenever you start learning to say no, don't feel guilty, because you're finally doing the right thing, and I'm proud of you.
When you feel guilty, say to yourself, "I'm proud of you for saying no."
2. Practice the Skill:
That's why I call it the skill of saying no.
You don't need to wait for a big situation to practice. Start small.
Say it in front of your mirror. Say it out loud, because the more you practice, the easier it gets.
3. Say It Politely: Saying no without being rude helps quench the guilt.
Use phrases like:
"Maybe next time."
"Let me think about it."
