16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence: Stop Digital Violence against All Women and Girls

Theme: UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls

Online and digital platforms are transforming the world, offering women and girls unprecedented opportunities for education, connection, and self-expression. However, these spaces have also become hazardous arenas where millions face harassment, abuse, and bullying daily. From blackmail through intimate videos to the spread of nude images across the internet, digital violence threatens the safety and dignity of women and girls.

African Skilled Youth calls on communities, technology companies, and policymakers to unite and address this urgent crisis. "We must learn to adhere to social media decorum and demand safer online environments," says the organisation’s leadership.

As the global campaign for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence unfolds, African Skilled Youth urges everyone to stand together and say no to digital abuse. Women and girls must be free to navigate digital spaces without fear.

Join us in this vital movement to #EndDigitalViolence. Be part of the solution, advocate, educate, and protect. Together, let’s build a safer, stronger future.
