As a researcher and administrator, I have always believed that the most complex global challenges require a fusion of bold action and meticulous strategy. This June, I am stepping onto the global stage as the Project Administrator for a mission that embodies "Service Above Self":

The London to Lagos End Polio Powerbike Expedition.

A Leadership Triad for Global Impact

While the road is long, the foundation of this mission is built on a powerhouse of professional and Rotary expertise. Behind every kilometer is a team committed to excellence:

The Rider:

Rtn. Cpt. Olatunji Emmanuel Okedeyi, the President-Elect (2025/2026) of the Rotary Club of Mushin Golden. A dedicated Social Worker in the UK, Captain Okedeyi is a man who has spent his career protecting the vulnerable. Now, he is taking that advocacy to the open road.

The Strategic Lead:

PAG Dr. Ayo Adeyemi, our Project Manager. As a Charter President of the Rotary Club of Mushin Golden and an experienced Project Management Consultant based in Canada, Dr. Adeyemi brings world-class strategic oversight to this expedition. His passion as a Rotarian ensures that every phase of this 13,000km journey is managed with precision and integrity.

The Administrative Engine:

I, Rtn. Toluwalope Daramola (PhD), serve as the Project Administrator and contact point, ensuring our global community remains connected to the mission's progress.

The Global Fight: Why This Matters Now

In June 2026, the engine will roar to life for a London Flag-off*. We are riding to raise *£100,000* for the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.

The Power of the 2-to-1 Match: Through the historic partnership between Rotary and the *Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation*, every contribution we receive is tripled. Our £100,000 goal will become *£300,000* in the hands of healthcare workers on the front lines.

The WorldPulse Challenge: Own a Kilometer

We are inviting the WorldPulse community to join our "Ground Crew." We aren't just asking for donations; we are asking you to own a piece of this historic road.

We are selling every kilometer of the 13,000km route for £10.

Sponsor 1 km (£10): Your contribution helps secure vaccines for children in the hardest-to-reach areas.

How to Connect and Support

Join us as we prepare for the June flag-off. Whether you are in Europe, Africa, Asia, or anywhere in between, you are part of our team.

The road from London to Lagos is long, but with a Social Worker on the bike, a Consultant at the helm, and a PhD leading the admin, we are ready to make history.

Which kilometer will you own?
